Marcus' Baptism

Marcus was baptized on March 27th.
The Anderson's were able to come down for the baptism on their way to a spring break vacation. It was so fun to see them.

Steph provided a wonderful brunch. The whole event was very well done.

Daylight Savings

I love daylight savings time! Waking up the first few mornings is a pain but the sunshine until 8:00 at night is awesome!

Scott Matheson Jr. Circuit Court Judge

Scott Matheson Jr. was my constitutional law professor last spring. I loved his class, it was very clear to me that he loves the law and loves teaching it.

Today Matheson was named as a 10th circuit judge by Barak Obama. I think this is an excellent choice. He ran for Governor of Utah in 2004 against John Huntsman. Although I lived in Washington State at the time, I felt that either candidate would do a fabulous job for Utah.

However, I am glad that Matheson did not win in 2004 Because I think he will make a far better circuit court judge and I was able to take his class.

Ode to AAA

I love being a member of AAA. My roommate had her battery die on her car. We tried to jump it but after several attempts we realized it was a no go. I called AAA and they were here within 15 minutes and had her car running in less than that. I am thankful that it was an easy fix and that it was only a matter of a phone call.

To top it off I learned what an engine block is and why you need to attach the negative cable to the block or some other metal. Bonus! I know, I am easily satisfied. So why am I single?

I'm Going to Make a Change

I got a new cell phone number with a local area code. It has only taken me four years to make the change but I owe it all the Michael Jackson.

I went to see this movie with my roommate tonight. It was very well done and it was so nice to see a historical royal who was so amazing and had a good solid marriage too. Go see it, it is very good.

More Christmas Fun with the Gillespies

Kris and Michelle brought their family up to my house on Tuesday for dinner and a trip to temple square.
Surprisingly it was not very busy and the lights were beautiful. Alaria looked like Ralphie from A Christmas Story in her snowsuit.

I love my family, it was a wonderful night filled with fun! Come visit me soon to see the Christmas lights.

Matt and Kerri brought their family up to my house for dinner and then a ride on Trax to see the lights on temple square on December 5th.
We had a great time!
