Kelly's Day at the Temple

 Kelly received her endowment at the Provo Temple on March 22nd. It was a wonderful evening I was glad to be a part of. 

 She had a lot of support from family and friends for this special day.

 After the session and some good pictures we also took some goofy ones, but they truly show Kris and Kelly's relationship.

 Kris was so proud of his parking spot, that he backed into. So we had to take a picture of the temple from the dashboard and then looking into the car. What a fabulous day in so many ways!

Congrats Kelly, we love you!

Welcome Hazel!!!!!

 Spencer and Angie had a new baby girl on March 14th and she is beautiful!

 They named her Hazel...

what a cutie! 

How Did I Not Know About This?

 Last night I went to Kris and Michelle's where I was introduced to the best worst movie, 

Troll 2!

 How is it that I have never heard of this movie, made in my home state of Utah and something I laughed so hard at that I almost peed my pants, which relates to the movie if you have ever seen it.

 The acting is so bad, there are no trolls in the movie, the story has so many loose ends you do not know what to do with all of them, and you will laugh so hard you will cry!!!!

The serious morale of this movie is eat more Baloney, increase cholesterol, and avoid fruits and vegetables. Is it any wonder that this is not shown in health classes around the country!

The Power of Crunchy Peanut Butter

 Crunchy Skippy Peanut Butter is one of Dad's favorite foods. He went into intensive care on New Years Eve with severe pneumonia I knew there was at least one thing that would make him smile. He was admitted to the ER and taken to ICU with lungs filled with fluid. On New Years Day, when I came to visit I tried to get the nurses to hook a jar of Skippy Peanut Butter to his IV. Believe it or not they would not do it!

On Friday, Dad was moved out of ICU. He ate Skippy Peanut Butter that morning for breakfast. Call me crazy but I think there is something to this! 

I am so glad Dad is out of ICU. I hope and pray he continues to recover well.

I love you Dad!

 Yet another great white elephant party, the pictures are self explanatory, I wish I had more!

Merry Christmas

 The Larsen's are building a new house, so they are temporarily living with Dad and Mom. It has been fun to have them there during the holidays.

 They came up to Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights and I started my Christmas celebration with them.

 On Sunday, December 23rd, I enjoyed Christmas at Kris and Michelle's. Claire and Alaria looked so pretty in Christmas dresses in front of the tree.

 On Christmas morning we got to watch the Larsens open their gifts. It is so fun to see the kids be so excited!

 We visited Kris and Michelle, and the Hortons. All of them enjoyed a wonderful Christmas morning.

Spencer and Angie were out last stop and their girls were so excited to show us what they got. It was a wonderful holiday and I look forward to a lot more fun!

Christmas Specials

 I remember this sign coming on the T.V. as a kid when the Christmas specials came on. We did not have Netflix, video, or DVD. We just had to watch on the one night the T.V. showed the show.

 It made the showings extra special and we only got to watch it once,

 Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful that things are so easily accessible now...

 But there is something to be said for having to wait to enjoy things!

Halloween Fun!

 On Sunday Night Kerri and Matt hosted their annual family Halloween party. Everyone brings creative food dishes and it is so fun!

 Spencer had a great Frankenstein costume. Kerri and Matt did an awesome Uncle Fester and Cousin It. I am not sure what Kris is but he claimed to be "Brave".

 At work on Halloween day we had some great costumes. Camille and I dressed as our fellow employees Vard and Tim.

 We also had three blind mice with fabulous shoes and a great pumpkin carving event.

Halloween is not my favorite, but this year was a lot of fun!

A Few Hours to Enjoy Nature

 I had to go to Cedar City over night for work with Camille Curtis. We had a few hours so I took her on an extremely cold tour of the mountains.

 We stopped first at the windy view of Zions National Park,

 and then to snowy Cedar Breaks. It was beautiful but VERY cold up there!
