Dad's 70th Birthday

 I enjoyed a week long celebration with my dad who turned 70 on February 18th!

 On his actual birthday Kelly, Mom, and I took him to dinner at Los Hermanos followed by a surprise at home of family members with cake and a new recliner that he quickly became comfortable in.

 On February 20th we threw a surprise party with family and friends. I got this cake with his picture as a baby made for the occasion. 

 The grandkids helped set up and watched out the window in great anticipation of Dad's arrival.

 Kris and Spencer took him to dinner and then brought him to the church for the big surprise!

 It was a great celebration with family and friends!

Briana and Jase

 I had the wonderful opportunity to go with Briana to receive her endowment at the Mount Timpanogos Temple on Friday, February 6, 2015.

She will be marrying Jase Warner next month and I could not be any happier for both of them!

Grandpa Bellows and the Great Depression

I had a chance to spend some time with Grandpa Bellows yesterday. At almost 91 he tells about his family during the Great Depression, and of course includes a joke! What an amazing man!

Spencer and Angie Gillespie, Skyped with Jeff and Julie Lecheminant, and texted with Brad and Kim Anderson! What a wonderful day filled with family that I love!

Christmas Fun!

 I was able to get tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert on December 12, 2015. The Hortons tried to get tickets without success, so I went to the concert with the three youngest kids.

 Marcus, Kylie, Quincey and I loved seeing the Sesame Street Gang with the choir! Such a great night!

 On December 22, 2014 the Larsens came up to see the lights on Temple Square,

 We rode Trax into the lights and had dinner at the Nauvoo Cafe, great fun!

 Then Kerri suggested we go to one of my favorite places! The Salt Lake City Library, what a perfect adventure!

I ended the day with a picture from the Lecheminant kids with the White Elephants I sent there way! Too funny!!! I am very blessed by amazing brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews that invite me to celebrate life in so many ways!

Christmas Lights

 Kris and Michelle wanted to go see the lights on temple square for family night. They stopped by and picked me up and then we headed to Salt Lake.

 Kris as always showing his "best" side!

 It was a perfect night for it and it was a lot of fun!

I love when family comes to Salt Lake and plays with me! What a great way to open the Christmas season!
