Float Preview Party
Larsens, Dad, Mom, and Kelly came up to Sandy this week for the float preview at the South Towne Expo Center. It is a great way to see all the parade floats for free, up close, and in air conditioning!
Kaitlyn, Dad, and Alyssa had fun putting their heads in the graduation pictures. Warning, the graduation was a U of U graduation!
There are tons of fun interactive things for the kids, including face painting and balloon art. We had a great time and loved that everything was free!
So glad Kerri remembered this event and invited me to join them! What a great family night!

What are the Odds?
After 17 years and many great memories it was time to say goodbye to the Little Green Hornet. I have loved this car and it has been incredibly dependable for 203,000 miles.
I bought a 2007 CNG Honda Civic with the expert help of my roommate Mandy and I am very excited about it. She has yet to be named, so if you have suggestions let me know.
A funny coincidence occurred the very next day when I discovered Kris and Michelle turned a van in for a CNG Honda Civic that was white. What are the odds!
Now we have twin cars and all within a day of each other. Way too funny, I just hope we don't get confused, haha....

Summer Fun
I went with Kris and Michelle to the Manti Pageant with some of the Horton and Anderson kids, 8 in all.
Kris is in a singles ward bishopric. His ward went down to a lake near Manti prior to the pageant and did some swimming and paddle boats. Kris took the kids out and they loved it!
Cole, Jacob, and Marcus went first...
...then Quincey, Alaria, Kylie,Josh, and Clarie.
After the lake we had dinner at a park in town. Most of the kids climbed up this bell, it was fun.
We also stopped at a pioneer house near the temple and toured prior to the pageant. It reminded me how comfortably we live.
We had a great time at the pageant and got home at 2:00am. What a day!
