Kaden's Baptism

Jeff and Julie decided to make a whirlwind trip to Utah this weekend for Kaden to be baptized with all of his family. He was baptized on August 29th.
It was awesome to see him be blessed by his dad, uncles, grandpas, and great-grandpas!
It was so awesome to enjoy this special day with him!
Congrats Kaden!

An Unexpected Celebration

Timpview High School honored Dad during the football game on Friday, August 28th. We had no idea that this was planned, but it was an awesome way to honor his continued dedication!

May need to fix the spelling, but I had to share! Love you Dad!

Final Moments in Seattle

August 19th was my last full day in Washington. Alexis was able to get tickets to a Sounders Soccer Game and invited me to go.
The games are held in the same stadium as the Seahawks play in and it was a beautiful night in Seattle.

Kim, Alexis, Tanner, and I had a great evening and I flew out the next morning. What an awesome and needed vacation! I can't thank the Andersons and Lecheminants enough!

Franco's Girlfriends, a Girl's Night, Waterfalls and Trains

On August 17th Julie and I headed up to Kim's house in Sammamish. It will be nice for the two of them to live a little closer to each other.
Julie had taken care of Franco for Kim a few weeks earlier and needless to say, Franco has developed a new love!
Franco even got in the hot tub with Julie.
We had a girls night with Julie, Alexis, Kim, and Avrey. Avrey loved being with the big girls!
Kaden loves to play with the Anderson's toys. He lined up army men all along the stairs and bridge.
On August 18th we went on a hike to Snoqualime Falls. It was so beautiful. Kaden and Avrey did not love the hills, but at the end Kaden said he now knows what it is like to be a pioneer!

It was a beautiful hike and I loved spending time with Kim and Julie!

We stopped in the train yard as well and the kids loved being able to climb on the trains!
What an awesome day!

Boulder Cave, Beautiful Waterfalls, and the Pacific Rim

On August 15th I went with Jeff, Julie, Trey, Kaden, and Avrey on a hike to Boulder Cave.

There is a beautiful waterfall right by the cave and the hike was not very far.

The cave was very dark, good thing Jeff had head lamps for us!

The day was quite cool and the views were beautiful!

We took a drive up to the trail head for the Pacific Rim Trail. We did not hike it for obvious reasons, too long, not prepared... but the view was amazing!
Washington is a beautiful, wonderful place to enjoy with family and friends!

Welcome to Yakima

On August 13th I drove with Julie to their new home in Yakima, Washington. They have a beautiful new home that everyone should visit!
On August 14th we went to the see where the kids would go to school and visited Jeff at his new Doctor's office.

We went to an awesome fruit farm and picked blueberries, apples and plums. They also had some awesome peaches!

We went to a fun museum in Yakima with the largest high heel I have ever seen. Mom would love this!
The museum had some crazy things as well. I can't really explain it, but it is an experience.

Lots of cools carriages and cars,

I made the Lecheminants dress up like pioneers and take pictures similar to the era. Now I just need to adjust the color! They were good sports and it was lots of fun!

We stopped at a soda shop for ice cream as a great way to end the day!
What an awesome first two days in Yakima! So lucky to have such an awesome family!
