Random Gillespie Moments

Kris and Michelle have been staying with Dad as they work on purchasing a new home. One July 10th I went down for a visit and Claire set up the three small chairs and had to try each while drinking a soda. She is so funny!

I do not know how to explain this picture other than to say Claire is a funny girl!
But hey, so is her brother Josh!

Five Generations and a VERY Cute Baby Boy!

Tanner and Alexis Hatch had a baby boy, named Milo on May 21st. Kim and Alexis came to Utah so we could all meet him. They took a five generation picture with Great Grandpa Gillespie and Great Great Grandpa Bellows while they were here!
Baby Milo is such a cutie and we all wanted to hold him. He already knows to fist bump with Great Grandpa!
Alaria and Cole loved holding him, as did we all!

Marianne loved Milo and he loved her too!

Hiking in Payson Canyon

On July 9th the Larsens introduced all of us to a waterfall up Payson Canyon.
This was not a hard hike but I love hiking and I love my family, so I could not ask for a better experience!

Kris and the older nieces and nephews hiked to the top and took a picture down in on us.
I also took a picture up at them!

The younger girls were the daring ones who ran under the waterfall, so cute and fun!

Calvin came on the hike with us and then later came to Grandpa's house. He is such a funny and cute kid! Such a great way to spend a summer day!

Fourth of July Family Fun!

The Fourth of July  is as close as the Gillespie family comes to a family reunion, at least so far. We started to celebrate with a BBQ in the back yard on July 1st including marshmallow roasting and smores that the kids loved!
We slept outside in tents and Avrey gave me a side ponytail so I could look like Deb from Napoleon Dynamite!
We got up bright and early on July 2nd, 5:30am, and headed down to see the hot air balloon launch. It was a perfect day for it and the kids all rode down in Grandpa's truck!
we loved having the Lecheminants with us from Washington!

Some sleepy kids and great dads! Love my brothers!
We had quite a crew and a lot of fun! It was fun to see the Kelly clan there as well and we thought a lot about Aunt Trea!
 Love my dad!

Cousin Bronson Kelly took this picture as he was flying above us. I am pretty sure you can pick our family out if you look hard!
We went to see the BFG movie in the afternoon and then had a picnic, including Snow Cones before the fireworks!
We walk down to the fireworks at the BYU Stadium every year. Thus year the fire station fighters were out so we stopped to take a picture while Andy picked up kids on the motorcycle.
Calvin's head looked so small in this huge motorcycle helmet and he LOVED the ride!
We had a great time at the fireworks and some VERY sleepy kids when we came home!

Girl Party

June 23rd -25th the Gillespie sisters, and adopted sisters, got together for a girls weekend in Park City. We also enjoyed a be-lated birthday celebration with Kelly for her 40th! We went to Red Rock and Baja Cantina for some awesome food!
Of course we had them sing to Kelly for her birthday and as you can see she "loved" it!

We got pedicures at this amazing place Julie found and it was so great! They had nine chairs and we had nine people so it worked out perfect!

Steph was the last one done and I could not help but take her picture as four of the employees watched her getting finished!
So fun with such amazing sisters!

We also did just a little shopping and all I can say is Mom would have been proud!
I ended an amazing weekend in honor of Dad with a chocolate banana! Can't wait for the next girl party, love you girls!
