Merry Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas! We started with a Christmas Eve dinner at Kris and Michelle's House. It was soooooo good!
Kelly knows me well! She got me awesome "true" Sesame Street things...
We had a LOT of snow and were very grateful for the snow plows!
In Eagle Mountain the Gillespies were having a wonderful celebration! Claire would not get off her new horse!

Calvin loved his new dump truck!
The Larsens had a great Christmas and as always Kerri made amazing P.J.s.

The Hortons were glad to have Keena here for Christmas and had a wonderful celebration!
Our final stop was with Spencer, Angie, and three girls in cute feety P.J.s. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas with love of family all around!
We were able to FaceTime with the Lecheminants and Andersons later in the evening and feel so blessed with modern technology!
Merry Christmas to All!

Celebrating Mom

Mom passed away on November 5th. She was being dressed for the day by my Dad and the hospice nurse. She left this earth peacefully and well loved.
We held a viewing at the church on the night of November 8th. Our family felt so loved and supported by the many family members and friends that shared love and support.

The funeral was held on November 9th. It was a wonderful celebration of her life and I am so grateful for the amazing family she blessed each of us with.

We had a bag piper come and play. It was something she always wanted.

As a family we ended the day in the kitchen, where Mom spent a lot of her time. I am so grateful that my Mother is no longer suffering the effects of Dementia and I know that she is with all of us in a more complete way than she has been for a long time.
I am so grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ and the opportunity I have to be a part of this eternal family that I so dearly love!

Celebrating 25 Years of the ADA

Last night I had the opportunity to attend a celebration of 25 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act!
The ADA is the first legislation of its kind in the world. Orrin Hatch was honored at this event...
Senator Orrin Hatch and Senator Tom Harkin were the principal leaders in the passing of the ADA! I hope to see the ADA continue to open doors for people with disabilities and to improve life for years to come!
