Summer Fun!

I had a pool party with family in the backyard. The kids are funny, they just wanted the hot tub!
The older girls just wanted to tan...
 ...and we all had fun!

Mandy was so kind to let us come and Hades circled the pool about 100 times. Andy put up the swim tube and he started to run through.

It was fun to have a pool party and a nice break! I need to do it again soon!
Later in the week Keena, Briana, Mackenzie, and Malia went to EFY. They went up at the U of U campus so they had a sleepover at my house, followed by a fun "girls" breakfast at the Blue Plate Diner!
These girls are growing up way to fast, and we had a ball!

The night before the Anderson's headed home we had a get together. Steph and Mom had matching outfits!
Cory was going to miss me so much he could not let me go (yeah right!).
Deah could not get over how big Cory is and he is taller than her.
I always love spending time with my family. The smallest thing, such as Deah trying to take our picture can make us laugh!

48 Hours of Independence!

The Fourth of July celebration was as huge success. We had the annual sleep out with Kris' traditional story!
There is no way to explain the sleep out, you just have to experience it... it is so worth it!

In the morning I did my usual annoying wake up at 6:00a.m. Deep down I know they all love it, and the ride in the truck to see the hot air balloons.

Dad stayed home with Mom and made bacon for breakfast. This is a picture of when Steph tried to tell him he was not in charge. Dad has a great sense of humor!
We were happy to have Grandpa and Grandma Bellows join us for BBQ's and breakfast after the balloons.

Saige was so sleepy that she fell back to sleep at 8:30 a.m.
I am not going to try to explain this picture, other than to say he really enjoyed the food!
Spencer and Angie are unable to join us for much, because Spencer has to work. But they did come have a picnic in the park with us. We were so glad to have them when we could!
The kids had great fun in the sand at the park. Saige was having a great time!

We played a little kickball while Dad and Mom watched. Dad went to play after a while, and Mom and I cheered them on!
Kris, Michelle, and I had the opportunity to go to the Stadium of Fire with the kids!

We had a great time! Needless to say, the kids fell asleep in the car on the way home. It is such a fun family time, no wonder everyone is exhausted after the fireworks!
Thanks family, I love you!
