So I found out this week that I did not pass the Utah State Bar Exam. You have to score 270, I scored 265.8. That's right, I missed it by 4.2 points.
There is something to be learned from this. I have a special talent for retakes
Driving Test Utah - 2
High School Pictures - 2
ACT - 2
Driving Test Washington - 2
LSAT - 3
Ethics Test - 3
Utah State Bar - 2 (I hope)
In the movie Rudy, he practices with the team for years and only gets one play in the final game of the last season he is eligible. He keeps going, sometimes you just need to prove to yourself that you can do it. This is what I intend to do.

Sorry to read this! But I like your optimistic attitude. I, too, am a terrible test taker so of course I've been freaking out about the bar since day 1 of law school.
I take the MPRE in November...not excited one bit.
Hang in there, with only 4.2 points to grab, you'll do it!
I am still DYING for you!! I can not believe it. I mean if you weren't going to pass wouldn't it be better to have missed like 75 points?? I mean really 4.2?? Although anyone that knows you knows that you will keep doing it until you get it right........you know it's just like riding a bike and you will get it done when you are good and ready :)
I don't know that you are just like Rudy but here is our favorite quote & it reminded us of you:

PS...I love that you compare high school picture retakes to the Bar Exam! They are practically the same!!
A sad moment--after all that work--but you are so close--next time will be much easier I'm sure. We wish you the best for next time!
