48 Hours of Independence!

The Fourth of July celebration was as huge success. We had the annual sleep out with Kris' traditional story!
There is no way to explain the sleep out, you just have to experience it... it is so worth it!

In the morning I did my usual annoying wake up at 6:00a.m. Deep down I know they all love it, and the ride in the truck to see the hot air balloons.

Dad stayed home with Mom and made bacon for breakfast. This is a picture of when Steph tried to tell him he was not in charge. Dad has a great sense of humor!
We were happy to have Grandpa and Grandma Bellows join us for BBQ's and breakfast after the balloons.

Saige was so sleepy that she fell back to sleep at 8:30 a.m.
I am not going to try to explain this picture, other than to say he really enjoyed the food!
Spencer and Angie are unable to join us for much, because Spencer has to work. But they did come have a picnic in the park with us. We were so glad to have them when we could!
The kids had great fun in the sand at the park. Saige was having a great time!

We played a little kickball while Dad and Mom watched. Dad went to play after a while, and Mom and I cheered them on!
Kris, Michelle, and I had the opportunity to go to the Stadium of Fire with the kids!

We had a great time! Needless to say, the kids fell asleep in the car on the way home. It is such a fun family time, no wonder everyone is exhausted after the fireworks!
Thanks family, I love you!

The dinner at the park was way fun. I'm sad we couldn't come to more!
